I believe that accounting is a collaboration. I want to get to know my clients and their business so I can proactively provide them with the necessary information to make knowledgeable decisions.

Vikki is a manager in DKB’s Not-for-Profit practice. Her collaborative approach to working with her clients allows for real-time communication, and an increased awareness to her client’s unique motivations. By looking at her client’s specific business needs, and understanding their industry in its entirety, she can fully identify risks and opportunities.

With over ten years of experience in audit and accounting, Vikki works with some of our largest not-for-profit clients. She specializes in the audits of not-for-profit organizations which include social service organizations, health and welfare agencies, churches, foundations, educational and cultural institutions, and country clubs. These not-for-profit organizations receive funding from a variety of sources including private contributions, government and private grants and member fees. Her specific expertise lies in the technical areas of tax exempt organization return preparation, unrelated business income, Consolidated Fiscal Reports, and audits under Government Accounting Standards.

Prior to joining DKB, Vikki worked for the audit division for an international public accounting firm and as an assistant controller in the private sector for a publicly traded company.

Vikki holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting from San Diego State University. She is a member of the AICPA and NYSSCPA.

Vikki lives in Penfield with her husband and two children. She is active in her community supporting the fundraising activities for her clients and she enjoys various sporting activities including volunteering her time reviewing the financial activities for her son’s hockey team.
