DKB Names Wuest, Woodworth Principals

ROCHESTER, NY, August 25, 2021 – DKB, a leading regional business advisory and CPA firm, has promoted longtime employees Steve R. Wuest and Kevin C. Woodworth to the position of Principal. Both were previously Senior Managers in the firm’s Tax Services area.

DeJoy notes that both Wuest and Woodworth joined DKB right out of college and earned their CPAs while working for the firm. Wuest arrived in 2010 and Woodworth in 2011.

About Steve R. Wuest, CPA

Wuest delivers comprehensive tax and advisory services to DKB clients, particularly those in the real estate, construction, and medical industries. He works closely with clients to understand their goals and analyze transactions, assisting them to make informed business decisions.

Wuest’s real estate clients include developers and investors who hold billions of dollars of assets in dozens of states. He advises on buying and selling properties, and structuring deals to achieve optimal financial and tax results. Further, he works with business owners and other individual clients, delivering tax planning and recommending strategies to reduce their tax liability.

Wuest earned an MS from the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School and a BS from SUNY Geneseo, both in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He lives in Fairport with his wife, Ashley, and their daughter.

About Kevin C. Woodworth, CPA

Woodworth provides tax-planning and compliance services to executive and high-net worth individuals; small and family-owned businesses; and professional service and health care organizations in DKB’s Personal Tax and Financial Planning practices. He helps clients manage strategies around retirement, executive compensation, estate planning, education planning, and charitable giving. His proficiency in IRA and Roth IRA details allows him to advise clients on tax-efficient investment decisions, and further their short- and long-term objectives.

Woodworth holds an MS and BS in accounting, both from SUNY Brockport. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Locally, he serves as treasurer of CURE Childhood Cancer Association, and serves as board member of Challenger Miracle Field of Greater Rochester. Woodworth lives in Webster with his wife, Kiani.
