- Where are you from and where did you go to college?
I am from Brockport, NY and I attend SUNY Brockport. - What was the deciding factor or influence in your life that moved you in the direction to choose accounting as your major?
I enjoyed math and accounting classes as a junior at Brockport, and I’ve stuck with it since. - What is something someone would be surprised to learn about you?
Due to a hockey injury, I have limited feeling in 3 fingers. - What do you like to do outside of work? Hobbies, creative ventures?
I participate in men’s hockey and soccer leagues in my free time. I am an avid golfer as well. - What are you hoping to learn more about as you begin your accounting career?
I hope to understand why specific procedures are performed during an audit and see the bigger picture of the work. - What things have you learned about our firm or about the accounting profession that intrigues you since you came on board or had an interest in prior to joining our firm?
I was excited to get back to working in an office environment and enjoy the office space and people at DKB.
