Mark Blood is a Co-Founder & Director of DKB’s Tax Practice.  He takes primary responsibility for overseeing all tax consulting, and compliance services.  He complements a thorough tax knowledge with a well-rounded view of how the business world operates, providing for a unique client experience.      In addition to tax services Mark provides consulting services surrounding general business consultation, mergers & acquisitions, tax planning, business structuring, and exit & entry stage consulting.

Mark is a thought leader in the real estate industry having spoken at a variety of conferences, and authoring many articles.  From companies with property portfolios ranging from $100 Million to $4 Billion, Mark has advised on everything from entity set-up to the impact of tax law changes.   Business owners, find Mark’s good-natured personality and ability to advise well-beyond the tax return, critical to their continued success.

Mark’s astute business personality lead him to being a co-host of Blood, Sweat & Tim, a business building podcast meant to provide business owners with a host of timely topics – from finance, HR, marketing, and healthcare, to starting up and winding down – all topics are meant to help business owners understand the marketplace and grow their business.

Beyond DKB

Mark and his wife Joanne reside in Webster, NY.  They have two adult children, and one granddaughter. In his spare time Mark enjoys golfing, vacationing with his family (especially their annual trip to the Outer Banks), and following his favorite sports teams – New York Giants, New York Yankees and SU Basketball!
